✅【How exactly to adjust】
In the early hours of October 25, clocks are set back from 3 o'clock daylight saving time to 2 o'clock, so that night you effectively get an extra hour of sleep. Phones and computers generally adjust automatically; the clocks on your oven, microwave and car at home may need to be changed manually.
❗【What Chinese people in Switzerland should pay special attention to】
· The next change to daylight saving time, according to the rules, is the last Sunday of March 2027.

📅 Time information
The Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) has announced: daylight saving time in 2026 starts on March 29 and ends on October 25 (Sunday). Under Swiss rules, on the last Sunday of October each year, clocks are set back one hour, returning to "standard time" (Normalzeit, i.e. Central European Time UTC+1). METAS specifically notes that in official terms there is no such thing as "winter time", only standard time and daylight saving time.
· Time difference with China: during daylight saving time Switzerland is 6 hours behind Beijing; after October 25 it becomes 7 hours behind. For example, when it is 8 p.m. in Switzerland, it is 3 a.m. the next day in Beijing. For video calls with family back in China, scheduling online meetings, or catching livestreams or sale launch times in China, remember to recalculate.
· If you are taking a train or flight or have a work shift on the 25th, double-check the time before you leave home.
